The Day Before Turkey day

I can't wait! I'm scheduled to work 3-10:30, but the manager just called and needs help before 11am. This will be a LONG day!

Homefront
I haven't said much about my relationship with my parents, just to mention it probably isn't the best. I love them, but... My Dad turned 84 yesterday, and from what my older sister said, isn't taking it too well. He has issues with depression but won't admit it. His generation said to work thru these things and don't ask for help. So we've been the brunt of his issues. That's one reason I moved so far away, I can't deal with it. Well, seems he's up to his old tricks again, and we're not sure what's happening. I called them this morning and there was no answer, so I'll try again today sometime. When you're raised with indifference from both your parents, you tend to become indifferent.

Gotta go, the public awaits me! Have a Happy Turkey Day!

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
