I realize there's nothing I can do about most of this, but it's helping to be able to vent.
* NASCAR is going to Charlotte. WooHoo. Charlotte taxpayers now have to pay to build the Hall of Fame museum, not to mention the percentages of concessions and other profits to the multi-billion dollar France family. What a bunch of greedy rednecks.
* Bill Campbell won't testify at his trial. He says it's more of a character assassination than a bribery trial and he doesn't want to drag his family thru any more mud. He may be right, there may be no basis for bribery. But he's not as innocent as he says. And his wife will probably leave him within 6 months.
* Dana Reeve, Christopher Reeve's wife, died of lung cancer yesterday. She was 44. They had one son, my heart goes out to him. How much tragedy can one family handle?
* Atlanta is losing another major employer, BellSouth. The governor and mayor are going to San Antonio to try to convince AT&T to move their corporate offices here. Three words: State income Tax. Ford is closing a plant, Delta is hurting and we've already lost several other companies. Maybe the traffic will get better...
* Where do single men over 40 hang out? I don't do bars, so where can I go to meet some 'respectable' gentlemen? Definately NOT hashing.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

Damn, guess I'm going to have to stop hashing and get respectable. Maybe yachting?
