So Happy It's Thursday!

It's one day closer to the weekend! Yea! And of course, we can all leave early tomorrow for the 'holiday'. It's not all about going home, it's all about not being at work! I love my job, I love my job.

Maybe it's the time of year
I'm really not big on computer dating, having done some personals back in the day, but I signed up for a dating service a few days before Christmas. So far, I've had no one interested. I even posted my picture. Now, I know some of you are asking yourselves 'How ugly is this woman??' , but I don't think that's the problem. I'm not model gorgeous, but I don't have a beard or appendages growing out of my face or arms. I think it's the time of year, after New Years this will 'pick up' so to speak, but it's also the Time Of Man. These guys are all 45+ and I think men revert back to grade school as they age. (I think we all do.) They become shy and very passive about the dating thing. That's not to say they aren't interesting or interested, they just don't want to make the first move. This dating site displays the profile of everyone who's looked at your profile, so I narrowed mine down to just local guys and I sent each one of them a short email. It's all about numbers. Hopefully I'll have more to write about later.

Delta and paycuts
What a mess Delta Airlines has! I feel for the pilots having to take so many major paycuts in such a short time, but it's better than not having a paycheck at all. I'd be so angry at the money grubbing executives that took their money and abandoned the sinking ship. Delta has to get a grip on their organization.
